Panasonic VIERA, a Great Mid-price 3D TV

If you think you have to pay three to four thousand dollars for a good quality 3D TV you would be mistaken. The Panasonic Viera TC-P50VT20 is an outstanding 3D capable television for the price.

This is a 50 inch flat screen plasma television that has 3D capability. This television not only has 3D ability that is reported to be better then you can see at the theaters but it also has outstanding 2D capability. Another fact that was frequently pointed out was the contrast of the television was great and the blacks are really black. This television has great contrast. You also get the bonus of the Panasonic brand which has been a leader in the electronics field for many years.

You won't be short component plug ins with 4 HDMI, 1 digital audio output, 1 PC, 2 USB, and 2 composite audio/visual. The only negative thing is the tv only comes with one pair of 3D glasses. You may want to consider purchasing some extra glasses for 3D viewing so friends and family can join in the experience. The Virtual surround sound doesn't quite replace an actual surround sound system but it is pretty good.

Being internet ready you can tap into Picasa web albums to view web albums, Netflix to watch movies instantly, or Pandora to stream music. This is a big bonus to this television. The 2 USB ports allow you to connect a keyboard for easier use.

This Panasonic television has positive ratings from both professionals and consumers alike. The positive comments far out weighed the negatives. Consumer Reports also backs what is being said by others. At right around $1800 this television is an outstanding buy!

Why You Should Eat Your Dark Leafy Greens.

How many times have we heard we need to eat our veggies? Your parents and the government both agree that you need to eat more leafy greens. It is recommended that you eat three cups of dark leafy green vegetables a week. Luckily this can be broken up as you wish. Three cups in one day or a half-cup a day six days a week would also give you the same amount.

There are many different leafy greens you can eat. A few examples are mustard greens, kale, watercress, spinach, lettuce, and arugula. These veggies are jam packed with vitamins and minerals. These veggies boast a high nutritional value while having a low calorie count this is ideal for those watching their calories.

Green leafy vegetables are rich in antioxidants. These antioxidants (they neutralize free radicals that damage your tissues) have been pretty clearly linked to their anti-aging and cancer fighting capabilities. Antioxidants are very important to be put into our body.

The fat-soluble vitamins of A, D, E, and K are found in high concentration in these leafy vegetables. If you add just a small amount of fat to these veggies your body easily absorbs the fat-soluble vitamins. These fat-soluble vitamins are very important to many of our bodies bodily functions such as sight, blood clotting, skin and hair health just to name a few. These green veggies are also high in the minerals potassium and magnesium. If you are interested in your hearth health these two minerals should be of interest to you. If you can't or don't like dairy you you can eat leafy greens as an alternative source of calcium.

It seems like Americans don't like to eat their vegetables. By simply eating leafy greens people can avoid vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Challenge yourself to meet the USDA recommendation for just a month and I bet you will stick with it for a lifetime.

Reasons to Take Vitamin D

Have you considered taking a Vitamin D supplement? Why is Vitamin D getting so much attention?

There are a myriad of positive health benefits attributed to Vitamin D. Vitamin D facilitates the absoption of calcium, prevents hypertension, and can provide some protection from certain types of cancer. If you are lacking Vitamin D, you may be at higher risk of developing brittle bones, cardiovascular issues, rickets, and diabetes.

The recent excitement about Vitamin D is related to a discovery that many Americans are found to be deficient. If you religiously wear sunscreen and avoid the sun, you might be deficient.

But how do you know how much Vitamin D you need? The answer is somewhere between 200 IU (International Units) and 2000 IU, depending on who you talk to. Some doctors are concerned that anything over 2000 IU of Vitamin D can be toxic. The most popular answer right now is to take about 1000 IU a day.

But what are good sources of Vitamin D? One natural source of Vitamin D is sunshine. You will get a baseline (200 IU) amount of Vitamin D if you spend ten minutes a day (unprotected) in direct sunlight. Some doctors suggest getting abut twenty minutes of unprotected sunlight before you apply SPF30 sunscreen, just to increase the amount of Vitamin D in your system. However, there are many other ways to get Vitamin D as well, and those other methods won’t give you leathery skin, sunburn or put you at risk for skin cancer.

You can take Vitamin D supplements (but be careful not to overdose). Check your multivitamin to see how much Vitamin D it delivers. Drink fortified beverages such as OJ and milk. You can also get Vitamin D from fish, cod liver oil, and eggs.

Your doctor will be able to tell you if you need to increase or decrease your consumption of Vitamin D.

Five Simple Tips For Keeping Your Weight Under Control

People seem to try all sorts of different diets. If you wonder why people try so many diets, one reason is because they have not found one that works! After all, if there was a single, miracle diet plan that actually worked the way diet plans are supposed to, all other diet plans would disappear, right?

Not exactly. A main reason why diet plans fail for so many people is because they are not committed to these plans. And they are not staying committed because, quite frankly, it is difficult to work a diet into your daily routine. You might want to eat healthy and live a healthy lifestyle, but your schedule probably does not make this easy. If this is the case for you, here are five easy ways to help keep your weight under control.

1) Always eat breakfast: Breakfast is called "the most important meal of the day" for a reason. Your metabolism gets moving right away when you have breakfast first thing in the morning. Even something simple like fruit or yogurt can make a big difference when you have it for breakfast.

2) Work your exercise in somewhere: A lot of people do not exercise at all, because they "do not have time." But really, there are a lot of times during the day when you can squeeze in some exercise - maybe you can take the stairs at work, or go for a walk on a nice day; maybe you can do some pushups before you hop in the shower; whatever the case, exercise when you can.

3) Change your eating habits: Even though a lot of us do not have time to make healthy meals all the time, there are even healthy fast food options. But actually, you will find that a lot of fast food places have added salads to their menus! Small changes in your eating will yield big results.

4) Add fruits and vegetables: Usually, you can save a lot of money by buying fruits and vegetables instead of fast food. And you can easily bring these foods with you while you travel to and from work or school. As you keep fruit around, you will begin to see a difference.

5) Add some supplements: By taking supplements that give you necessary vitamins and minerals, you can start to see a difference. By taking these supplements, you will find that your body feels a lot more healthy.

When you break down a healthy lifestyle into smaller pieces, you will find that it becomes a whole lot easier to keep your weight under control and to have a healthy body.

What is the Kindle?

In 2010, the top selling product on Amazon was the Kindle. This seems fitting, of course, as the Kindle is made by Amazon, but you also have to recognize that Amazon sells more than just their own products. In fact, some of the other top-selling items of 2010 were the iPad and the iPhone. That means that more Kindles were sold on Amazon last year than iPads or iPhones! There are still a lot of people who do not quite understand the Kindle - what is it, what does it do, why on earth is it so popular - but if you are one of these people, it is time to learn a few things about the Kindle.

One complaint many non-buyers have about the Kindle goes something like this: "I don't like the way my eyes feel when I look at a computer screen for a long time." Reading a Kindle is not like reading a book on a computer screen; in fact, reading a Kindle is just like reading a book! Each page of the Kindle is written in electronic ink, and otherwise the Kindle is non-electronic the whole time you read. It has no computer glare to hurt your eyes; no annoying lighting!

Furthermore, many people claim that they could not read on a Kindle because they enjoy underlining when they read a book. While it might not feel quite the same as underlining in a book, the Kindle actually enables you to "highlight," "underline," and even make notes and bookmark anything in the book.

Lastly, a lot of people claim that they don't want to lose all the books they purchased if their Kindle somehow malfunctions. But actually, Kindle users are protected against this, because Amazon stores every purchase online and allows users to retrieve these purchases if their Kindle is lost or broken.

Of course, there are many people who will never replace actual books with a Kindle. But even for such people, the Kindle can still be a good investment. After all, the Kindle makes business trips and vacations a whole lot easier - slip the Kindle into your bag and leave all those bulky books at home. Besides, the Kindle is really not so different from a real book.

How to Market on Forums

Chances are that you've participated in discussions online before. And if so, you probably did so on a message board or forum.

Although forums can be a great form of entertainment, they can also be a great way to market your business. More traffic, leads, and customers are obtainable through forum marketing, and all this can obviously lead to more money.

Perhaps one of the most obvious things you can do here is look for people talking in your niche or about products similar to yours. You then participate in a discussion with them or reply to them while leaving a link to your site either directly in your reply (if the forum is okay with that or if it's done in a non-spammy way) or in your forum signature (which most forums allow).

Another thing you can do here is to see what is being talked about in your market and what they really want. If you look at a forum this way, you'll surely see some great sellers and see what people are wanting to pay you for right now.

If there appears to be a lot of buyers for a certain product or service on the forum, that's a good sign that it might be something for you to sell as well. If there are a lot of people praising one particular product or service, try to see why and try to do something similar, or if you see people having trouble or complaining about one aspect of something, see if there's a way where you can sell them a solution.

Another method that works well to make money off message boards is to look for potential partners that you can do joint ventures with or other forms of partnerships.

Lastly, one huge feature of forums that a large chunk of them have are free or cheap sections devoted to advertising, selling, buying, etc. where you can advertise your product or service or even find active buyers who might already be asking to buy something similar to what you have.

And that's not even going into the benefit of putting your links in your signature to get more exposure and SEO benefits to your sites, which is yet another great benefit.

One way to get started right now is to go to your favorite search engine and type in [your market] forum or [your market] message board and see what pops up for you to start posting in.
